Our Doctors

Dr Nick Krasner qualified as a doctor at Liverpool University (UK) in 1992. He gained his GP qualifications and his Masters in Sports Medicine in London, where he also lectured doctors and medical students and later worked for Tottenham Hotspur and Barnet soccer teams.

He has a special interest in psychology, having written the book on depression entitled ’10 Simple Paths to Happiness.’ Dr Krasner has been studying and treating skin cancers for the last 4 years and recently completed his initial ACNEM training, which leads to a fellowship in Nutritional and environmental medicine (Integrative Medicine).

Dr Krasner has also been an expert for BBC World News, a presenter on Channel 10’s Cruise Mode, a children’s author and International motivational speaker.

Dr Jo underwent her hospital residency years at Townsville University Hospital (TUH), followed by registrar years in the remote areas of St. George and rural areas of Mackay under Australian GP Training (AGPT) via James Cook University Regional Training Office (JCU RTO). She gained her Fellowship as a Specialist in General Practice. She worked as an Emergency Medicine Consultant/SMO in regional EDs in North Queensland. She also has dedicated years working in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Health Service.

She has a keen interest in Chronic Disease Management, Indigenous Health, Geriatrics, Women's Health, Mental Health, Paediatrics, Palliative Care, and Skin cancer medicine which includes skin flaps/grafts.
